In Russia, brown bear make rug out of you. (Said in the worst Russian accent.) Seriously though, this brown bear is nothing to poke at. It will bite back!

Brown Bear ammunition is high quality and gets its name from its “brown” casings that are made out of lacquered steel. Although not being reloadable, these Berdan primed rounds are guaranteed to fire, non-corrosive and ensure long shelf life.

Manufactured in Russia at their Barnaul Machine Plant, the Bear series of ammunition touts a full line of hunting ammo. Each one is color coded and named for their protective coating used on the cartridge case. Brown is lacquer, Silver is zinc and Golden Bear is brass. All rounds are steel cased.

This round is an intermediate cartridge that was designed by the Russians in World War II. It has tested to function well in both polar and desert conditions, lending itself for use to all military forces and civilians. The muzzle velocity is measured at 2,421 fps.

Upon ordering these bad boys, you will receive 20 rounds per box; 25 boxes per case of 7.62x39mm hollow point ammo. The best economical and precision-made rounds around.

A: Hello Ron! This Brown Bear ammunition is loaded with a lead core, bi-metal jacket projectile. The jacket of the projectile is made by layering copper and steel and then pressing it together.
