If 50 rounds if good, 500 rounds is better, right? Simple math suggest it to be true. In all seriousness, the only way to become and remain proficient in shooting is to shoot regularly. The best way to shoot regularly is to have ammo on hand to shoot, and buying bulk ammo is the best way to ensure it is there when you are ready for trigger time.

The 9mm caliber remains wildly popular for a couple of great reasons: first, it is still a very effective caliber; second, it is easy to shoot and has relatively low recoil; third, it is by far the least expensive of the Big 3 autoloading calibers. Okay, that was three reasons. But it is still just as true: the 9mm is a great defensive caliber.

If you want to spend a day at the range with a .45 ACP, your wallet is going to feel it more than your wrist. .357 Magnum? Forget about it. Nobody wants to pay for that outing. But the 9mm will only set you back a little.

For those of you out there who shoot in an indoor range, lead is a problem. Well, Winchester has created the brass-enclosed base (BEB) bullet, which seals off the bottom of the bullet to eliminate airborne lead, which is pretty important when you’ve got 500 rounds to go through. This 115 grain slug is designed for target shooting with a flat nose, and an equally flat trajectory.

Get out there and get shooting with a case of Winchester 115 grain BEB in 9mm while it lasts.
