Details

This inexpensive but reliable Blazer load from CCI is perfect for shooters who like to use heavy bullets. The cartridge fires a 147 grain full metal jacket (FMJ) projectile at 950 feet per second, typical for this weight. Each cartridge in this box of 50 uses non-corrosive Berdan primers and aluminum casings to keep costs down for the customer. The aluminum casings are non-reloadable but feed and extract well in most autoloading firearms.

CCI is a well-known manufacturer of Blazer range ammo, which maintains strong reliability and a good reputation for quality in addition to its low price point. The company also produces a wide range of high-end rimfire ammunition such as the famously dependable Mini-Mag. Although owned by Alliant Techsystems, CCI remains headquartered in its historic Lewiston, Idaho facility close to sister company Speer, which often uses CCI primers in its loaded ammunition.

A: We have found the Blazer line of ammo to be great choice for an economical range round. Shots have been consistent without any jams or hangups in modern pistols in good working condition such as Glock, Springfield, Sig etc. The Blazer brand also offers a "Blazer Brass" line of ammo which features a brass cartridge rather than the aluminum used in the above ammo. All rounds are loaded with clean burning, non corrosive components.
