great ammo at a great price

This 20 gauge ammo is a real bargain. It performs well holding a tight pattern at 25 yards. What else could be better for a 00 buckshot load. The ammo is well worth the price. (Posted on 9/28/12)Ammo Performance Bargain? Reliable? -

First OO buck I found in 20 ga....approx 12" pattern at 25 yds from 24" barrel, andReliable? Ammo Performance Bargain?
appropriate recoil. Groups good with an occasional flier. I'd like to try it on coyote,
as my single shot 20 is alot easier carry and cleanup with snow. (Posted on 12/13/11)

Q: Would this ammo work efficiently for the killing of raccoons less than 50 feet away? Or would it be a bit "overkill"?

A: That depends. Do you want to eat the raccoon afterwards? If so, you might want to use a single projectile (smaller than a 12ga slug, that is) on such a small animal. If you are just looking to eliminate pests, 00 Buck will do the job quite well.
