Each cartridge in this box of 100 fires a 40 grain lead nosed bullet at a muzzle velocity of 1,070 feet per second. This is a subsonic velocity that produces excellent inherent accuracy and works well with suppressors due to its lack of a sonic crack.
CCI ammunition is loaded in Lewiston, Idaho using rimfire-primed brass cases. It is often highly sought after due to its reputation for cycling well even in finicky firearms.
