Ammo Overview

Quantity - 180 rounds per box; 5 boxes per case
Manufacturer - Red Army Standard
Bullets - 122 grain full metal jacket (FMJ)
Casings - Polymer-Coated Steel

Feed your 7.62x39mm chambered AKs the way that they were intended to be with these Red Army Standard bulk packs. These 900 rounds cases, composed of 5 convenient 180-round range packs, are perfect for long-term storage as well as for high-round count classes and training sessions. The cartridges use 122 grain full metal jacket (FMJ) bullets, non-corrosive Berdan primers, and steel casings. The rigid steel case bodies are coated with a light polymer film which provides obturation (chamber seal) during the firing process; that means this ammo can be reliably run through Sig 556xi, AR-15s, Robinson XCRs, and other non-AK platforms chambered in 7.62x39mm. 122 grains is standard weight for the caliber and will closely match the ballistics of other brands of ammunition.

Red Army Standard ammunition is owned by Century International Arms, a well-known Florida importer and manufacturer of arms that specializes in weaponry foreign to the United States. The Red Army brand of ammunition is imported from Eastern Bloc countries like Ukraine and Bosnia where mass production of cartridges has been refined over decades for quality and efficiency. This means that end users can expect the ammo to be inexpensive and dependable.

A: Hello! This ammunition will not pass a magnet test. Due to the bi-metal jacket that the round is loaded with, the steel content in the jacket will cause the ammunition to fail a magnet test.
