Suppose that you have no intention of handloading. Why, then, should you pay for brass cases which you’ll only leave lying on the ground? That question once plagued budget-conscious shooters for decades … until Blazer introduced the aluminum case, that is.
This Idaho-made ammo features Blazer’s unique aircraft-grade aluminum cases. The same metal which is used to manufacture soda cans is going to help shave a lot off your range ammo spending, so you can use that money for other, more important things (such as buying one of our cool T-shirts).
Do take care that this ammo is not reloadable. Blazer’s Berdan primers are noncorrosive, but more importantly they make this ammo incompatible with conventional component primers.
Blazer’s 115 grain full metal jacket projectile does not contain steel and does not attract a magnet. It’s a great pick for any kind of target shooting, although it will not deliver terminal expansion if it strikes soft tissue. Capable of neutralizing a threat, no doubt about that, but not as effective for personal protection as a jacketed hollow point.

I tried this out because it's cheaper than the brass at the store (but there may be cheap options on bulkammo for brass) and it performed fine in my Taurus g3c, nothing negative or spectacular to report either way. The aluminum case is bland looking, I prefer some nice shiny brass or nickle. It might have fed ROUGHER but it didn't jam. (Posted on 8/16/2023)

So far I've put 500 rounds of this ammo through my Glock 19 without a single issue. Others have mentioned the occasional jam or failure to eject, but I wonder if this has more to do with the gun than the ammo. Glocks are known for their reliability so much so that a lot of Glock owners rarely clean their guns. I, on the other hand, clean it after every trip to the range. Anyway great bargain on the ammo, and have not had a single issue after 500 rounds. (Posted on 9/23/2011)

These 115gr. FMJ rounds by Blazer in 9mm have a copper jacket. They are non-magnetic and are safe to shoot on ranges that do not allow magnetic rounds. These are great economical target rounds in 9mm.

A: Yes, the aluminum cases alone weigh about 1/2-1/3 of what a brass case would weigh. The bullet weight is still the same, though.
Q: The manual for my KelTec Sub 2K says that I should use only brass cased ammo in it, and that other ammo may damage the firearm. What damage could be cused as a result of using other than brass casings?

A: An examination of a Kel-Tec Sub 2000 manual did not seem to indicate that only brass cased ammo should be used. While it is possible that your manual is of a different version, the most likely explanation is that the firearm does not function well with steel cased ammo. No damage is likely to result from its use.
