Blazer’s range loads provide awesome value to high-volume shooters. This cartridge’s bullet weighs in at 115 grains, so it gains enough momentum to clear a 4” barrel at a rate of 1,150 fps. That’s a supersonic muzzle velocity, and it’ll keep the bullet flying at a rate of about 977 fps at 100 yards.
This round’s full metal jacket has the 30 SC’s signature flat nose profile to ensure smooth feeding in all handguns. A flat nose is especially good for paper targets, as it will cut a tidy hole which makes it easier to see just how closely you’re grouping your shots. The FMJ cannot expand, which makes its terminal performance inferior for self-defense applications, but it’s also nonmagnetic for full compliance with all commercial ranges’ ammo policies. Nice!
Blazer’s new production brass cases are loaded with CCI’s famously reliable noncorrosive Boxer primers, and they’re certain to meet a discerning handloader’s standards for quality.
