20 Rounds of .30 Super Carry Ammo by Federal Punch - 103gr JHP

Whenever I feel my life is in jeopardy, I simply use my ultimate technique: the fireball punch (火の玉パンチ), in which I throw my fist so hard that it breaks the sound barrier and sets the threat’s eyebrows on fire.

The fireball punch is extremely effective, but takes decades to master. Fortunately, if you’re short on time, you can just use Federal’s Punch series ammo instead.

Federal developed the 30 Super Carry. They also load it with a 103 grain Punch jacketed hollow point – a bullet designed for civilian defense, which is more economical for not having a bonded jacket, yet nevertheless effective at neutralizing a human assailant. The JHP’s jacket is skived to permit lower-velocity expansion, and rugged enough to ensure majority weight retention following passage through the most common barriers.

This round is just barely supersonic out of a handgun with a 4” barrel. Striking energy becomes less than 250 ft lbs at ~49 yards; less than 220 ft lbs at ~100. I admit that that’s considerably more range than my fireball punch is capable of!
