This round features Federal’s 123 grain open tip match projectile. The OTM offers fundamentally identical terminal ballistics to the more common FMJ, which is to say that it will not expand inside game. (As such it’s not suited for deer hunting.) But whether you’re firing the FMJ for varmint hunting or target practice, you’ll appreciate how its uniformly distributed lead core, slender nose and ballistically efficient profile add up to great accuracy. This is a 0.443 G1 ballistic coefficient cartridge thanks to its OTM.
Federal American Eagle ammo is nonmagnetic for compliance at all commercial ranges, non-corrosive and clean-burning to mitigate its effect on your rifle, and brass-cased for any upcoming handloading projects you might have in mind. Good stuff!
