Armscor’s goal was to load first-class all-distance 6.5 PRC hunting ammo. They succeeded, because they loaded it with Hornady’s high-tech ELD-X bullets. These things are superbly accurate, with the 0.625 G1/0.315 G7 BC that can only come from a concentric AMP jacket, streamlined secant ogive profile, optimized boat tail, and Heat Shield polymer tip with patented Drag Variability Reduction Technology.
The ELD-X may be suitable for hunting at all (plausible) ranges, although its terminal ballistics do vary by striking range. Within 400 yards, its InterLock ring is enough to secure up to 60% weight retention. Outside of 400, the ELD-X promises up to 90% retention.
