Ammo Overview

Ammo Quantity - 200 rounds per box
Ammo Manufacturer - Federal
Projectiles - 165 grain full metal jacket (FMJ)
Ammo Casings - Boxer-primed brass

Fixing to tighten up your aim, speed up your mag dumps, or just partake in a little leisurely afternoon plinking? Federal’s Black Pack is just the way to go about it. This big box of 200 40 S&W cartridges is priced low to keep your finances healthier, but still delivers big Federal quality!

This round’s 165 grain projectile is the middle child in terms of factory loaded bullet weights, and provides a good balance of recoil and power. It’s the range round’s classic FMJ, which benefits ease of feeding and prevents rapid fouling at the expense of doing away with expansion potential during penetration.

Federal’s brass shell casings not only cycle rapidly without tripping up a semi-automatic, but serve well as reloading components. You can stretch this box out over the course of months if you so chose. Federal’s Boxer primers contain a potent chemical which provide surefire ignition, and their propellant creates a consistent chamber pressure for rewarding performance.
