Ammo Overview

If you're the kind of shopper who goes out of their way to find 45 LC ammo with the "Made in America" label, then these bullets were made just for you!

American Cowboy manufactures all of their ammo exclusively in the United States, and there's no round more "cowboy" than the ubiquitous .45 Long Colt. A popular cartridge in the era of the Wild West, American Cowboy pulls out all the authenticity stops with their Lead Flat-Point bullets. These bullets will fire just as happily from a revolver as they will a tubular magazine firearm due to their flat noses. Whether you're loading a Winchester Model 1894, an 1873 Marshall or any other Wild West staple, American Cowboy's .45 LC will readily complement your rootin,' tootin', shootin', experience.

The American Cowboy .45 Long Colt being sold is loaded with a 200-grain Lead Flat Point (LFP) projectile. The boxer-primed brass is safe for reloading. This ammo produces muzzle velocity of 636 feet per second and 180 foot-pounds of energy at the muzzle. The cartridges come packaged in 50 round plastic trays boxed in American Cowboy branded card-stock. There are 10 boxes in this case.
