Federal did not waste one second designing this ammo’s packaging. Black lettering on a white box! they said at their factory in Anoka, Minnesota. And it was so.
But boxes aren’t important. Ammo is, which is why we’re quite certain you’ll be pleased with this box’s contents.
And it’s not just any ammo. It’s 500 rounds of Federal Premium American Eagle 223 Remington, which is just about as good at it gets for plinking and range training with an AR-15 or any other 5.56 or 223 rifle.
The 55 grain full metal jacket is a simple bullet. Lead core. Thin gilding metal jacket. Cannelure to preserve seating depth. Absence of steel; nonmagnetic. Simplicity is golden whenever you’re not hunting, defending, or testing our your rifle’s maximum effective range, though!
Noncorrosive? Check. Reloadable? Check. New brass cases? Check that, too. The cases’ mouths were annealed for added strength. That’s why they’re grayish in places; not because they were previously remanufactured.
