Details

Winchester provides their USA Target Pack to give shooters just the stuff they need to work hard on refining their marksmanship or unwind as they severely punish some empty recyclables. This 9mm round ends with a 115 grain bullet -- the lightest conventional factory loaded bullet, and accordingly one with a fast muzzle velocity, flat trajectory, and recoil similar to many popular self-defense projectiles in its caliber.

Winchester’s full metal jacket is evenly layered to keep its bullet stable in flight and hard to combat rapid bore fouling. What it doesn’t do is provide an expanding terminal effect -- in fact, this bullet’s tendency to penetrate a human-sized target entirely precludes it from use for self-defense when bystander safety is of concern. This round shoots clean with its specially formulated propellant, stores well with its non-corrosive primer and corrosion resistant brass casing, and will give you a valuable reloading component once emptied.

A: Hi Debra. Thanks for reaching out to us at BulkAmmo.com. When it comes to the practice, FMJ ammo there just isn't a significant difference in any of these. Mostly the differences will be in packaging rather than performance. I usually just buy whichever is the least expensive even if it is only a few pennies since any of them will work perfectly in your Taurus. Let me know if I can assist you further in any way. Have a great day. Ronnie
