An excellent price for a great range training 12-gauge round, especially for those who need to shoot a lot of ammunition to stay on point. But this isn’t just for competition shooters, as it is capable of working as your primary clay round if you need one that won’t leave you with soreness for days after a long run of shooting sporting clays or other events. The reduced recoil and top quality build make this shotgun ammunition easy to justify, given the price point and the performance. The lighter #7.5 load which offers a 7/8 ounce cup and a 1200 velocity still lowers the felt recoil. It is also still viable in semi-auto shotguns, though there may be a bit of adjustment required on the gas system.
The 2 ¾” shell is suitable for all 12 gauge uses and the impressive build quality is an exceptional value from the company that has a near monopoly on sporting shotgun rounds in their home country. This is for good reason though, considering they are offering options that no one else is doing at prices that cannot be approached by most makers. Fiocchi’s reputation as an innovator in the shotgun shooting space is shown again with this super mild round that still performs substantially at the range.
