Sellier & Bellot was founded in 1825 when Louis Sellier began working making percussion caps for infantry firearms in Prague at the request of the Emperor of Austria. Headquartered in the Czech Republic, it was acquired by CBC of Brazil in 2009.
Today, partnered with CBC, Sellier & Bellot produce of 1 billion ammo cartridges annually. Starting from meek beginnings, they became a state-of-the-art ammunition company that utilizes computer controls and visual inspection systems.
