The 32 S&W was introduced in 1878 as a light self-defense cartridge for “card table” distances. We advise that you keep card tables a separate concept from this cartridge -- casinos universally frown on the use of firearms on their premises, and if you catch your friend cheating at hold ‘em, it’s a lot easier to just make a new friend.
This 32 S&W cartridge by Magtech features an 86 grain lead round nose bullet. It’s ideal for casual target shooting, as its shape will cause it to cut through the air rather well and its shape provides for better penetration than a flat nose would allow. Because it is made of lead, the bullet will deform some upon impact -- not as much as the hollow point which is intended for self-defense, but certainly more than a jacketed bullet. Of course, some ranges don’t permit the use of lead projectiles due to their toxicity, so check the rules before you go fire this round.

Q: Is this the same as 32 S&W short will it work.

A: Yes sir, "32 S&W Short" and "32 S&W" are one and the same! People often add "Short" to distinguish it from "32 S&W Long." (Ammo naming conventions could be a little less complicated, in my humble opinion.)
