Q: What is the difference between Winchester Super Target and AA ?
Posted On: 10/4/11 By: Bill Scanlon
A: According to Winchester, Super-Target loads are intended specifically for sporting clays, skeet, and trap, while the AA loads cover those same uses as well as some upland game hunting. However, many of the loads are absolutely identical with the exception of the packaging and labeling.
Q: By chance do you have this in 16 gauge ammo.. Thanks Brent

A: Not at this time, sorry.
Q: I've used Winchester ammo in the past and it works fine in that I've taken it to the range and it works. I'm not using it for hunting. It is for home defense. Do I need a more expensive round or a different size shot? I'm new at using firearms.

A: Buckshot or slugs are a better choice for home defense. The projectiles are heavier and penetrate farther into a larger and heavier target, while the small pellets used in birdshot will stop very quickly and before reaching vital organs.
