I love this ammo
Review by Bob Cigar -
After a remington 22 shell busted the ejector in my 22 from a serious overload with powder I was sugjested to this ammo and man am I happy. Rarly ever a jam I think the reson people have jam and misfires is beacuse of an unclean gun beacuse this ammo has almost never jammed, mabey after 500 in one day of straight shooting but other than that this is the bomb! Cheap
Review by a3ng25 -
I've fired probably 21000 rounds of this through my ruger by now and each pack may give me like 10 jams/duds/failures. I'd say that's pretty good for bulk ammo. I can get a pack of this ammo for about $18 at my Walmart when I can find it in stock. So its good ammo but I'm not sure this is the best price, (Posted on 1/5/12)Reliable? Good ammo, good price
Review by Frank -
Bought on sale here at Bulk Ammo for $0.0426 each including shipping. Even Walmart can't beat that price. After a couple thousand rounds through two different rifles, no misfires and no hang ups at all. Will be back for more. (Posted on 9/5/11)Ammo Performance Bargain? Reliable? -
I Stand by Them
Review by Henry -
I have shot 10000 to 15000 through my Henry lever, remington 597, and 10/22 and i love them. I have found only a few rounds that is that that a little hot or a little slow, but the are the best for the buy. As for the price on this websit, it is only a few dollars cheaper for the bulk than the local gun shop. (Posted on 9/1/11)Ammo Performance Bargain? Reliable? -
Worst ammo I ever used
Review by Chris93555 -
I have a Ruger 10/22 and used this ammo to break it in and it misfires on every other one. Tried to use it after I broke it in and still have problems, either does not load, and eject correctly (Posted on 8/17/11)Ammo Performance Bargain? Reliable?

Q: I am new to shooting, and would initially like to buy a lot of rounds for practice range shooting. For 22 LR, I see different attributes like hollow point vs solid and high velocity vs standard. How do those items factor into practice shooting?
Posted On: 10/17/11 By: Jon
A: Your plan to practice a lot with 22LR is a very good one. For your purposes - if you have a semi-auto - high velocity is the better choice, because it will function better in semi auto 22 handguns and rifles. Bullet design does not have much of an effect on punching holes in paper for practice purposes, but copper plated or copper washed bullets are a good choice for high volume shooting because they will reduce barrel fouling. If you have a semi-auto, you should try smaller amounts of several different types of ammo to see which one works best in your weapon before buying a very large amount.
Q: Are there any special storage requirements for such a large number of rounds?
Posted On: 10/12/11 By: Stephanie
A: Not really - this much ammo takes up about the same amount of space as two decent-sized shoeboxes. Keep them in a cool, dry place, and the ammo will be fine.
Q: How does this ammunition differ from regular federal bulk ammo?
Posted On: 9/27/11 By: David
A: This is a case, or ten boxes, of Federal bulk packaged .22 LR ammo.
Q: What is FPS for this ammo.
Posted On: 9/23/11 By: Sandi
A: Federal Champion's 22 LR 36 gr CPHP (part # 745) has a muzzle velocity of 1260 FPS.
