Each cartridge in this box of 50 fires a 55 grain polymer tipped bullet designed to fragment rapidly and bring down coyotes, prairie dogs, and other game quickly. A muzzle velocity of 3,240 feet per second puts this ammo in line with M193 ball, a common mil-spec training round.
These cartridges are loaded at Hornady's main headquarters and production facility in Grand Island, Nebraska and will work well in both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO rifles. They use non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass cases.
