Magtech was founded in 1926, and for almost 100 years they’ve been coming up with new, innovative ways to not only meet but surpass the expectations of shooters just like you. They take quality seriously, and because their factory is vertically integrated they’re able to take their focus and dedication to the next level. Each and every component for their ammunition is produced on-site, from bullets to propellants to brass, giving them the ability to exercise complete quality control over their ammo. Magtech truly goes the extra mile to make sure their ammunition is well-made.
These Magtech rounds are made for your .357 Magnum. At 158 grain they’re considered medium-weight for the cartridge size; these rounds are light enough to zip down-range like lightning and heavy enough to leave a memorable mark on targets. These are Semi-Jacketed Soft Point rounds and begin to expand immediately upon impact. The semi-jackets control expansion, slowing it down a bit to allow for more penetration; this ammunition creates devastating wound cavities. Each round has a muzzle velocity of 1235 feet per second and muzzle energy of 535 foot-pounds. This ammunition is designed for self-defense.
There are 1000 rounds in this box of ammunition, so it’s a great size for getting in some serious training time with these powerful defense rounds. Because defense rounds create greater recoil and muzzle flip than standard target rounds it’s important to practice accuracy and shot placement with them, because you can’t master those things by practicing with only target rounds. Magtech manufactures this ammunition at their factory in Sao Paulo, Brazil. If you want to become proficient with your .357 Magnum or build on skills you already have, you want this 1000-round box. Order now; what are you waiting for?

Chronied some rounds and they were HOT...most were in the 2500fps range out of a Coonan 357 1911, had one that kinda scared me as it went 3000fps and change! Could definitely feel that one! Will buy more for the Eagle, but that is the only thing I'll shoot this in...maybe I got a hot batch... (Posted on 8/10/16)
