While blank rounds are normally seen only as useful on movie sets or in force-on-force exercises performed by military and law enforcement groups, they are also useful for function checking your favorite wheel gun after it receives a new trigger return spring when you don't have a range handy. These .38 Special loads from Winchester contain no projectile but have a rounded and crimped top for easy insertion into the cylinder of your revolver. Inside the brass casing is a nice measure of clean-burning powder that accepts a spark from a non-corrosive Boxer primer.

As effective sources of explosive noise, blank rounds should still be recognized as dangerous to your hearing or to close range targets upon which they can still expel a potent load of hot gas as well as the cardboard cap that keeps the contents inside. That being said, these .38 caliber blanks can be useful when getting hunting dogs accustomed to gunfire or for making your own amateur videos without the need for costly after-effects. These rounds are made by Winchester, one of the most recognized manufacturers in the U.S. that has over 150 years of manufacturing experience.

This ammo is intended for less-than-lethal force, but could still cause serious injury or death under certain circumstances. Circumstances like, but not limited to, use in close proximity to your target. Be sure to handle a firearm loaded with this ammunition the same way you would any loaded firearm.
