Details
TulAmmo makes this affordable 9mm range ammo for high-volume shooters with cost on the brain. By using polymer-coated steel casings rather than brass, these 9mm Luger cartridges are wallet-friendly without sacrificing performance.
A 115gr full metal jacket projectile is crimped into the top of each Berdan-primed steel casing. A bi-metal jacket envelopes the soft lead core of each FMJ bullet, and shooters can expect a muzzle velocity of around 1150 fps. The bi-metal jacket and the exposed lead base of the FMJ bullet style may result in above average lead fouling, but it's nothing a good cleaning can't eradicate. The steel casings are non-corrosive and non-reloadable.
The Tula factory came into existence in 1880 in Russia and has since grown into one of the most respected ammunition manufacturers in Eastern Europe. They produce low-cost ammunition that is enjoyed in countries all over the world for a variety of applications. Order your 1000-round bulk case of this 9mm ammo today!

On my last trip to the range with the tula ammo I bought I was experiencing a high number of fail to fires, stove piping and finally a bullet that didn't exit the barrel. I pulled the trigger on my springfield range officer and it made a hissing sound then smoked like a flintlock. After that I suspected the bullet was still in the barrel and confirmed that it was with a rod from my cleaning kit. Never had these issues with other brands of ammo... I haven't had trouble like this with Wolf (a russian brand) which is why I was willing to give this ammo a try but i would NOT recommend Tula ammo to anyone. (Posted on 4/23/2020)

I have several types of 9mm handguns that my wife and I both love to shoot. This is my 3rd case of 1,000 rounds that I have bought from this website and the Tula has not let me down yet. Not a single jam or misfire and they are as acurate as any other brand I have shot. We use critical defense rounds in all our guns at home, but when at the range, I never feel bad about shooting as much as I want for the price of Tula target rounds. I use them in .223 for my AR-15 and after 2,500 rounds have not had a single issue with any of those either. I read a lot of complaints that they were dirtier rounds, but I clean my guns regularly, so I couldn't say one way or another on that. Bulkammo.com has always ship exactly what I ordered very promptly and all my experiences ordering rounds from them have been great. Thanks for keeping us shooting! (Posted on 1/27/2020)

I fire Tula Ammo through my PT92 without a problem. Because of the price it's a great target round. I will definitely buy another 1000 when I need to replenish my ammo stock. This will be my 3rd 1000 round bulk purchase of this ammo. I'm looking forward to getting an AR-15 very soon. I have read that Tula .223 works great in several different AR-15 rifles with no problems. Tula will remain my "go to" for target ammo. Great ammo at a great price. (Posted on 12/29/2019)

I had heard that Tula 115g FMJ ammo with the steel cases would be dirty but it was no worse than any other round. I fed 200 rounds through my Glock 19 at an indoor range one night last week without any misfires or jams. I will order another 1000 rounds in the spring if the price is still this good.

Shot 1000 rounds in one day through three pistols (92FS, Stoeger Cougar, Taurus G2C) with not even a hiccup. Was not as dirty as I was preparing myself for. It was just as accurate out to 25 yards as anything else I've shot. Have not tried Tula in a revolver yet, but it works flawless in all my semi-auto pistols. (Posted on 3/20/2019)

I ordered 1,000rds and have fired this ammo through my G43, G19, S&W M&P-9, shooting 100's of rounds through each without any failures of any kind. I like being able to afford to buy a 1,000rds at a bargain price. I don't mind the cleaning or maintainance. When I go fishing and catch a lot of fish I'm prepared to clean them to eat, so the people whining about ammo being dirty should maybe take up knitting! (Posted on 1/4/2019)

I have shot Tula ammo in both 9mm and 223 and seldom if ever have I had any issues. People complain that it is dirty, Really, you shoot any other brand 100 rounds out of your gun and tell me it is still clean. I have experienced no issues with any Tula ammo so would highly recommend it for the range or any other type of target shooting. (Posted on 9/29/2018)

I shoot a lot of the USPSA and steel plate challenges in my area, and I always use this ammo. I have put at least 5,000 rounds through my Beretta 92fs and have had maybe 1 failure to eject. I would say these are more reliable then all of the other "cheaper" ammos available and as accurate. (Posted on 5/13/2018)

I was not sure about Tula due to other people's comments about it being "dirty ammo".
OK, it is dirtier than some of the higher priced ammo. But for range ammo it works perfectly well in my Glock 43. I clean my weapons after each use, so they do not sit around dirty after shooting.
For range ammo I find this ammo just fine, no problems. (Posted on 3/7/2017)

For a steel round I expected to have some major maintenance after going to the range, but to my surprise after putting around 100 rounds through it I did not have to do an extreme cleaning for my PT111. As long as you keep up routine maintenance you won't have an issue. The one drawback I did not consider is that most indoor ranges where I live do not allow steel rounds. Otherwise I strongly recommend Tulammo. (Posted on 3/5/2017)

Tula Ammo is working at becoming a competitive force in the shooting industry (see their American representative website). I was a little leery about ordering Russian-made ammo, but I've been shooting a major brand that's made in Brazil, so what the heck. The ammo was a great bargain on sale, too good to pass up. It feeds well, shoots well, and is clean to shoot. I put 100 rounds through my Ruger 9E with 2 failures to eject, which can happen with any ammo and, as I was getting tired after having shot over 200 rounds, may have been a grip problem with me anyway, so I can't say for certain that it was the ammo. With any brand of ammo occasionally there will be feed/eject/misfire problems and any semi-auto shooter takes that in stride. Overall I'm very pleased with it and will certainly order more. And kudos to bulk ammo! I've ordered from them twice now and their shipping is ridiculously fast! My ammo arrives in perfect condition, and their everyday low prices make it affordable for me to shoot as much as I want to without making such a dent in my wallet. Thanks! (Posted on 2/5/2017)

I've now gone through 2,000 rounds of this Tula ammo and will purchase again. I do think it fires pretty dirty, but that doesn't make much difference if you clean your weapon on a regular basis. I usually don't shoot more than 300 or 400 rounds at a time and clean my gun after each session so dirty is not a problem. I do notice some smoke but I shoot outdoors so that's not a problem either. I did run into one box of 50 that contained 4 rounds that didn't fire. The primer was dented but the round didn't go off. I'm told Tula uses very hard caps and this batch must have had some extra hard caps that wouldn't go off. I think this stuff is great for target practice, just review your misfire procedures, keep the weapon pointed in a safe direction for 30 seconds etc. (Posted on 12/21/2016)

I run this through my G23gen3 w/Trudot sights w/ Storm Lake 9mm Conversion barrel and tungsten guide rod. I normally shoot a 3-4in grouping at 10yards. I've maintained the same grouping at 15yards.
It's dirty ammo but not the worst. I haven't cleaned my G23 w/ close to about 2000rds with Tula and Blazer through it. I would say 1800 of the rounds were Tula. I know a firearm should be cleaned after each range session, but I'm tired of pampering my G23.
I haven't had much real critical malfunction issues with this ammo. All the rounds fire with no problem. I've had a few Failure to Eject and stove pipes, but I think it's due to my guide rod and 9mm conversion barrel (or due to me not cleaning my firearm). However, I use that as an opportunity to practice clearing malfunctions. Also, I've never had an issue with casings stuck in the chamber after firing.
All in all, it's a great/cheap ammo to practice with. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AMMO. Would I depend my life on it? Yes and no. I would rather carry hollowpoints than ball/FMJ ammo. However, I would carry this ammo if it's all that's left, because you'd be stupid to turn down any ammo at all when there's none.
Use this ammo to practice on your grip, trigger squeeze, sight alignment, and etc. HAVE FUN! (Posted on 5/25/2015)

A: Thank you for reaching out, Raymond! This 9mm ammunition ought to function in any firearm chambered for it. We believe the P320 is also available chambered for .357 SIG, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP, so please make certain yours is a 9mm before ordering.
Q: What is the core or slug...is it lead or steel?

A: Hello Fred,
This ammunition is manufactured with a lead core, bi-metal jacketed projectile. The jacket of the projectile does contain steel, so it will not pass any type of magnet test.
