We were happy to see a few “fat 50s” arrive along with our latest shipment of military surplus ammo cans. Deserving of its name, a fat 50 ammo can boasts more generous dimensions than those of the standard M2A1, and it holds significantly more ammo as the result.

Fat and sturdy, this can evinces all the great quality you should expect of a piece of milsurp. Its steel construction is designed to endure the stresses of warfare, so it will have no problem standing up to whatever you could do to it. This can’s rubber gasket is still plenty supple, and its latch fits securely enough to keep pesky water out!

This fat 50 can has already been to work, and may show some scratching, rusting, and military markings here and there. But you know what? That just means it has character. It means you don’t have to feel guilty when you add your own scratches to it. And above all, it means you get it for a great price!
