Ammo Overview

Ammo Quantity - 10 rounds per box
Ammo Manufacturer - Winchester
Shot Load - #4 shot
Shell Length - 3-1/2"

A rugged bird like the turkey calls for a rugged shotshell. This 12 Gauge shell from Winchester’s Double X line of ammunition is 3 1/2" long so that it can hold a whopping two ounces of #4 shot. The .13” diameter lead pellets are plated with hard copper, so they resist deformation during ignition and are hard enough to deliver tremendous energy on impact. The special shot is also loaded with polycarbonate grex granules that buffer it, a measure which helps it to pattern even more tightly. With this shell you’ll be able to keep enough distance between yourself and your bird that he won’t even see you coming.

This shell’s custom blend of propellants delivers a supersonic 1,300 fps muzzle velocity. Its strong plastic hull and brass head don’t crack under that kind of pressure, and the shell’s distinctive black color will help you make certain that you don’t mistake this specialized load for one less suitable for gobblers. This high quality shell only begs one question: Will ten of them be enough?
