Take a gander at this 22 LR ammo’s pretty red bullets! That color isn’t paint, or strawberry filling from a BulkAmmo.com employee’s jelly donut. That’s polymer brother, and it’s there to promote massively cleaner performance!
This cartridge’s 40 grain projectile is a lead round nose: the absolute most basic kind of bullet a 22 LR cartridge can have. But because it wears polymer, the LRN is able to reduce lead fouling inside a suppressor by as much as 80% (noting that this is the high-velocity and not the subsonic version of Clean-22, and therefore not optimal for suppressed rifles). Better yet, the bullet’s lack of plating means it won’t produce any copper fouling, too!
This ammo doesn’t just shoot clean. It also shoots straight, because CCI carefully engineered its LRN’s geometry to promote the best accuracy, and loaded it with their famously dependable rimfire-primed brass case. Made in Idaho!
