You don’t want to “hit the target.” You want to be able to clip a flea’s nose whiskers at 500 yards, which is why you want this 223 Rem cartridge by Black Hills Ammunition!

This round sports a 75 grain bullet – super heavy, which gives it the momentum it needs to hold onto its velocity far down range and dismiss crosswinds. The bullet itself is a hollow point, although it’s not the sort that delivers terminal expansion for hunting. The match bullet’s nose ends in an extremely narrow diameter aperture so it can pierce the air like a needle, and its core was poured into place so that it conforms perfectly to its thin, concentric jacket. This bullet’s jacketed base gives propellant gasses a flat, even surface to push against. Black Hills didn’t overlook an opportunity to make this bullet aerodynamic, balanced, and above all accurate.

This cartridge further offers a precision drawn and tapered brass shell casing for unerring chambering. You can reload it afterward, but you’ve got all your work ahead of you if you want to match Black Hills’ attention to detail!

Please note that this round’s heavy bullet likes a faster twist if it’s to stabilize correctly. We’d recommend a minimum of 1:9.
