Details

This ammo has purple-tinted cases. Pretty, aren't they? The coloration has no impact on performance or reloadability. It is only present because Winchester produced the cartridges according to U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) specifications for training ammo.
What’s it going to be? Cruddy 223 Rem ammo loaded with pig iron bullets, brass cases from the 18th century, primers that turn any steel they touch into rust, and propellant that was specially formulated to create as much fouling as possible? Or superior 223 Rem ammo, which is loaded with premium components and ensures clockwork functionality in any make and model of rifle? If you choose the good ammo, then you’re in the right place!

Winchester loads these straightforward target-blasters with 55 grain full metal jacket projectiles (just like the M193 spec range loads they produce for the U.S. Army). Each bullet’s lead core wears a copper-alloy jacket, and is accordingly unable to attract a magnet. The bullet is backed by a sensitive (and totally noncorrosive), clean-burning propellant, and newly minted brass case that any handloader could have a real good time with. You get 50 cases of this excellent stuff when you buy the whole case. Forget about annuities and Bitcoin and all that junk. Invest in ammo!
