A whole heap of ammo, neatly divided among two plastic bags inside a big cardboard box. That’s the high-volume shooter’s bread and jam right there! This 5.56x45 ammunition by Armscor is all any AR-15 owner needs to practice their art at the range – or sit on, indefinitely, in preparation for the kind of problem the AR-15 was invented to solve.
This cartridge doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but that’s good for when you just want to enjoy a little plinking. The bullet is an ordinary 55 grain full metal jacket, which is all the military’s M193 specification really calls for. The hard gilding metal jacket prevents any kind of terminal expansion. The core is solid lead, so there’s nothing magnetic about this bullet. It’s also equipped with a boat tail, which essentially makes the bullet more aerodynamic so it can fly flatter and benefit from higher resistance to wind deflection.
Armscor loads this ammo at their headquarters in the Philippines with brass cases and non-corrosive Boxer primers – the hallmark of reloadable cartridges. It should cycle smoothly through any semi-automatic rifle, AR-15 or otherwise!

Q: Is this ammo made in the U.S.A?

These 55gr. FMJ M193 rounds in 5.56 by Armscor are manufactured in Mexico. Armscor makes excellent ammo and you shouldn't have any problems with them.
Q: I want to make sure if it is steel core or shell.
May I use it in a range by colt M4?

These 55gr. FMJ rounds by Armscor in 5.56 have a lead core, copper jacket, and a brass case. They are good to shoot at a range that does not allow steel rounds.
