Try and name a more iconic duo than you and your 9mm pistol. Sike! It can’t be done. You two go together like ice cream and sprinkles – and that’s exactly why you have to cancel all your appointments for the rest of the day and order a case of Blazer Brass* right away!
Blazer didn’t go absolutely psychotic in their attempt to load affably priced 9mm ammunition. These Brass series cartridges are named after the very same metal their new and reloadable cases are made of, and loaded with steel-free, not-magnet-attracting full metal jacket projectiles. They are lighter bullets, too, which means Blazer didn’t have to sink as much lead into their production (and also means they gain supersonic muzzle velocity out of 4” or more tube).
The only cost-reducing measure of note Blazer took is this: plated jackets. They’re not as thick as true jackets, which has an obvious upshot for a shooter who’s trying to avoid paying for copper. The only real downshot is the plated jacket’s incompatibility with ports. Ported barrel. Ported recoil compensator. Ported other muzzle device. None of them belong near this ammo’s plated FMJs.
