This is my go to for range plinking. I go at least once a week. I'm poking holes in paper a lot with this stuff! The only issue I had was the last time I got my order, the box was beat to crap. I found the Sellier & Bellot 9mm 115 grain ammunition to be an excellent purchase for several reasons. It was easy to order from Bulk Ammo and was to be had for the lowest price per round I could find. It was delivered very quickly. And I was not disappointed in my previous experience using S&B ammunition in that fired consistently, cleanly, with no jams. I am a high-volume shooter and can say that S & B 115Gr FMJ, scores a 10 out of 10 in performance, dependability, value, accuracy. I average 1,000 rounds a month for years. For a long time I was apprehensive stocking up with the same range ammo, usually kept 50% S&B and the other 50% Federal, Winchester and Blazer brass for the range. Now, I'm all in with Sellior & Bellot, The only times I had a failure to fire was not from the ammo, but something worn out in my rigs or the accumulation of CLP and crud in the firing pin channel...Great ammo, I'm getting another case. I shoot a lot and go through a lot of ammo. Over the years, I have used mostly CCI Blazer Brass and it has always worked great for me. I tried this Sellier & Bellot stuff on a whim and was very surprised by its performance. Compared to my usual Blazer Brass, it behaves very similarly. It cycles great in all of my handguns and carbines. It is noticeably cleaner than the Blazer. The most significant thing for me is that is produces slightly smaller groups on target than the Blazer does. I use both brands of ammo very interchangeably. But, over the last year, I have really come to prefer the Sellier & Bellot over the Blazer. One last advantage for the Sellier & Bellot is that a carton of 1000 rounds of it takes up a bit more than half of the space that 1000 rounds of Blazer does. This means I can store almost twice as much of it in about the same space as the Blazer ammo. With limited storage space, this is very nice. (Posted on 4/10/2024)

I was skeptical having never bought a bulk order online but I was sure surprised! The ammo arrived on my doorstep in 2 days, it was discreetly packaged and I’ve had zero issues with how it’s performed. I’ve shot 900 of the 1000 rounds (took a 2 day gun course) and all 900 worked flawlessly. I will definitely order from here again.

First of all, thank you Bulk Ammo for your service, fast shipping and great communication!! Great sale price for a great ammunition. Shoots hot for a 115 grain as described in other reviews. Did a comparison at the range between my Nano and my G2C. "Snappy" but no misfires, no FTEs, etc., and accurate (to the best of my ability). The lesson learned was I should have minimally added a cover box, as in the past to this order rather than save a couple extra bucks when shipping. After a few years of shooting, I discovered S&B ammo, and I have never gone back to any other brand. The consistency of the ammunition is outstanding. My favorite part of these is how insanely consistent they are round after round after round. Shot after shot gives a duplicate experience, love that. Everyone should know this, but these loads are hot, very hot... which I tend to like, especially with a new 1911 during break in period. My action really appreciates the added force and I get zero issues. I love this ammo and highly recommend it. Only downside is they are dirty, I'm guessing coming from the hot loads, your firearm will look it after a lengthy trip to the range. But I like cleaning, so this is a moot point to me. Using in my new Kimber Micro-9 and working just fine. I think the ammo is just ever so slightly hotter than other brands and that is just what I needed. No malfunctions from it at all and that's after expending about 1100 rounds through three different breeds of 9mm semi-auto's. This ammo has worked great. 500 rounds no misfires, great feeding, no jams. Clean enough and as far as how accurate I shoot way to much and probably way to fast and with out any bench rest, to give a hoot. Run and gun HA HA . This ammo does a great job. I've run a bunch (over 1000) of these through a Glock 19 and now an LC9 - no problems. Not too dirty. I'm not a bullseye shooter per se, but it appears any missed shots are my fault, not the ammo's (As much as I'd love to blame the ammo) . At these prices well worth going with this instead of Wolf, Blazer, Brazer Brass, etc. in my opinion.

I decided to try it in a lousy, jam-o-matic of mine that has a tight recoil spring. It usually jams after every third shot. With this ammo, I am able to empty the magazine and now it only jams on the last round :(

I've written positively about this ammo in the past. In addition to economy and accuracy - and dependability (no FTF's and no FTE's) - the following may sound minor, but it is actually a big deal to me. This ammo comes in an extremely small box. It makes it very easy for me to store a lot of ammo in my ammo safe. The box is easily half the size of other brands. Also, the primers - if you ever plan on reloading, this ammo comes with a red colored primer, which makes it very easy to find as you look on the ground and try to find just the rounds you fired. Clean. Accurate. Reliable. I've been through about 3,000 rounds of this stuff with my Glocks and CZs. Zero problems. Unfortunately, they're no longer sealing the primers...but you can do that yourself with nail polish.

I had the pleasure of using this ammo during a 4 day class last year. I shot 500 rds in 4 days and never had a failure. I used a Ruger P89, a P90, and a Glock. No failures (except staged (G)). Saw a lot of it used in several calibers. Again, no failures.
I just bought an XD 9, and have put 200 rounds thru it. Fast and smooth thru all mags. found great accuracy (up to 60 feet for my break in).

My niece and I used the S&B 115gr FMJ in a Tactical Response Fighting Pistol class this past week. We fired 2000 rounds in two days through two Glock 17's. There were no malfunctions related to this ammo. It was clean compared to some other ammo we use. After each day of shooting we used a micro fiber towel and wiped down the pistols. Then we added a drop of Froglube and wiped it off. So I'll reorder more and use it for training ammo. (Posted on 3/5/2012)

Using my Beretta px4 subcompact I just finished sending all 1000 rounds down range. I was able to fit all 1000 rounds in my gun vault because the boxes are smaller than most. However it does make it tough to get them out of the plastic rack in a hurry unlike the larger boxes so bring a shallow Tupperware container to dump them into. With these rounds I was consistently able to get 13 in an 8'' group with ease. I did have one failure to feed but my gun was kinda dirty after 400 rounds so I wiped the ramp clean and kept going. I like to spend a few hours shooting and have a Lula speed loader that helps cut the load time. I went 3 different times not all in one trip just to clarify. I like the sealed primers also. First time using S&B and Bulkammo.com. Great experience on both. Order processed and shipped next day and the ammo was delivered to my front door quickly. Comes in 20 individual boxes of 50, and they are very tightly packed (zero interstitial space). Fired 200 rounds through a brand new Springfield XDM-9, no issues whatsoever. I'm really impressed with these S&B rounds. I just got my first 1000 in just a few days. Shipping was super fast. I put about 250 of these through my Glock 34 with some match trigger and spring mods, and it's been flawless. I'm training for USPSA so my groups are hardly worthy of accuracy testing, but a few slow fire groups were nice and tight. The boxes are also nice and small--easy to fit in the range bag. Overall this is a great value. Maybe a few bucks more than the bargain basement, but this is a really high quality brass-cased round for cheap. Buy some, but leave a few cases for me! New Walther PPS 9mm compact which needs a good break in so I ordered 1000 rounds and have found NO issues with this product. It fires clean which makes cleaning the gun later a relatively quick and easy job. Its very reliable with several 100 rounds put through now and I haven't had a single failure. Accuracy is dead on at 60' from a 3.2" barrel in the PPS.
There was a slight warehousing problem which delayed my order a few days however no big deal. From everything I've read BulkAmmo has pretty quick shipping so this was likely a rare occurrence and wouldn't stop me from another order.

I recently purchased two new firearms, a Beretta 92A1 and XDM 4.5". While looking for ammunition at local stores, I realized that breaking them in could be very costly. I decided to surf the net and look for a better deal. When I found these on Bulk Ammo, I was a little skeptical, but after researching the S&B brand on-line, I found that they have an extensive history and are a very reliable manufacturer. Much to my delight I found that a lot of firearms are tested with these rounds at manufacturer's before they ship. Well then, we will try them. I ordered 1000 rounds, with shipping included, the cost broke down to about .22 cents a round. So far I have shot about 400 rounds through each sidearm and I must say they are very impressive target loads. I have not encountered one round that has failed to chamber, fire or eject in either gun. The consistency and accuracy of these loads are impressive as well. I will buy these again and recommend them to others for the purpose of practice shooting. As for Bulk Ammo, I have nothing bad to say, they have a great selection, offer very good pricing and ship quickly. I will continue to buy my ammo from them as well as recommend them to others. Going on my 2nd thousand of S&B 9mm. Not one round gave a problem in either LC9 or SRC9. If someone has a problem with this stuff it's likely to be them or their weapon.

My first purchase was this ammo (9mm) and all I can say is bravo. I was a bit skeptical in ordering S&B at first because of other web searches on the ammo. Some reviews talk about the ammo being magnetic and causing sparks at the range. This is all bull$h!t. Neither is true.
I have gone through half of my case (500 rounds) without one FTF. It's as accurate as my hands and eyes allow, but more importantly; it burns much cleaner than my wally world ammo.
I didn't receive the package as fast as others have stated in other reviews, but it came in a timely manner, with shipping information email, and confirmation delivery. So, no complaints here.

I've just recently started shooting through my 2'nd case of this fine target ammunition. There are several reasons I like this over any of the other cheap target ammo. 1: This Ammo shoots much cleaner than any other target ammo I've used in my Springfield XD. 2: This ammo is loaded to a higher velocity than a lot of other cheep FMJ ammo, so it recoils more like defensive rounds for better practice. 3: This ammo is packaged in smaller boxes than most 50 round boxes of 9mm, so it takes less room to store. 4: At this price the guys on my pistol league were shocked, asking where I bought it, and I referred them all here to Bulk Ammo. I shot 200 rounds so far and have had 2 the cartridges the were duds and did not fire. Also, on 3 occasions the empty casing failed to eject (never left the barrel) which caused my P226 to jam when the next cartridge tried to load. Cartridges also leave a weird brown residue on guns which is harder to clean than residue I see from CCI or Federal. Anyhow, the work for the range and the price is about right for the quality. I shot my first 150 rounds of this case at a pistol league, rapid fire, in the rain, with not a single issue. It is no joke cleaner than the last brand of quality brass cased target ammo i purchased. I also appreciate that they load this a little hotter than the average FMJ 9mm. I've seen similar S&B rounds listed at 1300 FPS muzzle velocity and 420 foot pounds of energy. I don't know if these are the same ones, but I like my practice rounds hot because my carry loads are real hot. At this price, I can't imagine a better target round. (Posted on 5/18/2011)

Fired 1,000 rounds of this at a weekend gun course out of a 1911 9mm pistol. No malfunctions of any sort. No dirtier than any other ammo I've fired. Cleaned/lubed the 1911 only once. This ammo comes in around the $0.20/round price point, which is what other brands are charging for far less quality. The casings and jacket both look like the same metal. It fires cleanly and regularly; not a lot of residue after the same number of rounds of that "other" brand (Tula, Wolf, etc.)

Q: Can this be used with a compensated/ported barrel? Some FMJ's say not for use in these instances. I.e. Blazer Brass and Federal Champion.

A: Hi Double A! Sellier & Bellot doesn't currently manufacture plated bullets. All of their 9mm ammo should be safe for ported barrels/compensators.

A: Thanks for reaching out Ken! So long as you do not expose this ammunition to light, humidity or temperature fluctuations, it can easily last longer than you'll be alive for. We have recently sold war surplus ammunition from the 1940s that was still perfectly fine. The best way to store ammo is in a sealed military spec ammo can with a few silica gel packs, somewhere inside your home. Silica packs are cheap and available on Amazon. A: This ammo is compliant with ranges that ban magnetic bullets. Its bullet contains only lead and copper-zinc alloy. Its case is brass for that matter, so there's no magnetic steel to be found in it. Very few ranges require frangible ammo, so I think you should be all set with this ammo!

Q: What is the best choice of ammo to use at the range for my S&W Model 59 Nickel? I'm looking to buy in bulk , so I want to select the correct ammo before I buy. After reading multiple reviews on about, "1000 Rounds of 9mm Ammo by Sellier & Bellot - 115gr FMJ", I'm pretty sure this would be an excellent choice. I would appreciate any advice or opinions that you may have. Thank you in advance.

A: You're correct in that Sellier & Bellot's 9mm ammo would be a great choice for your new S&W Model 59 --- Congrats on a great purchase, by the way! You might also consider PMC's 9mm rounds as they are another cost-effective option for range use with brass casings. As a general rule of thumb, most shooters concerned about wear-and-tear on their firearms prefer to shoot brass cased ammo over steel cased --- but, everyone has their own tastes and opinions so be sure you're doing what you feel most comfortable with.

A: We have found this 9mm ammo from Sellier & Bellot to work well in all modern pistols and carbines chambered for pistol rounds. The rounds are loaded with S&Bs premium ammunition components that are non corrosive.
Q: On the pictures you posted I don't see any sealant use on a primer. I would prefer don't have the sealant.

A: Sellier & Bellot used to include a primer seal coating on all of their products. Currently they are only coating their "police" line of ammunition. This item will not include a primer sealant.

A: S&B bullet jackets are made of copper or brass. Brass is made of copper and zinc, and is what the cartridge cases are made from. If S&B uses more zinc in the jacket, it will appear more like brass and less like a traditional copper jacket. Both types of jacket will provide reliable and accurate performance.
Q: If I were to purchase this product I would be using it in my Ruger SR9c. Have you had any feedback as to feed reliability and/or failure to eject problems with that pistol?

A: The red coloration around the primer pocket on Sellier & Bellot's 9mm ammunition is the color of the sealant used. The sealant applied to the primer pocket reduces potential contamination from moisture and humidity helping to increase the shelf life of this product.
