No buckshot to spread out energy here. This shell’s payload is a single 1-1/8 lead slug, which invests the totality of its energy into its sole point of impact. We wish we could provide a better sense of precisely how much energy that is, but alas – Fetter has not disclosed the muzzle velocity. Nevertheless, this assuredly is full-strength ammunition, which has the punch needed to take down a deer or a hog.

This shell’s slug is rifled: the correct choice for a smoothbore shotgun, with exterior grooves that interface safely with a choke tube. Do not fire this ammo in a rifled bore shotgun, which will be inaccurate (and possibly damaged by the exercise).

Fetter made this ammunition in Russia. Its components are modern, which chiefly means its primers are not corrosive.
