This round’s 62 grain bullet features a spitzer profile, complete with the aerodynamic point (i.e. the first “P” in “PSP”) that promotes the flattest trajectory and highest downrange velocity retention. That point isn’t jacketed, which enables the PSP to treat its target to wide expansion – a feat which no FMJ can match. The PSP’s jacket and core aren’t bonded, but they don’t need to be in order to conserve the kind of weight and energy the PSP needs in order to creep its way deep inside the quarry (or threat).
