20 Rounds of .223 Rem Ammo by Winchester DHS Purple Casing - 62gr OT

Out of Stock

Ammo Overview

Ammo Quantity - 20 rounds per box
Ammo Manufacturer - Winchester
Projectiles - 62 grain open tip (OT)
Ammo Casings - Boxer-primed brass

Usually a round’s casing isn’t its most interesting feature, but here we are! This 223 Rem cartridge was made by Winchester for the Department of Homeland Security’s training purposes. The casing is rather uniquely purple so as to make the DHS’s training loads easy to distinguish from their deadlier ones. As the result, this is ammo that’s going to turn heads -- “Where did you get that ammo?” is the question you’re certain to be confronted with at the range. And you, hero that you are, will say!

This isn’t a novelty cartridge, of course. Its 62 grain open tip projectile has the greater mass, the uniformly dense lead core, and the ballistically efficient profile which pinpoint accuracy all call for, giving you the stuff you need to impress at the range in several ways. You’ll like this ammo so dearly that we expect you’ll want a whole case of it after burning through a box, and we’ve got precisely that ready for you the next time you come back!
