This Australian-made cartridge features Sierra’s 125 grain MatchKing. The hollow point bullet isn’t actually designed to expand inside a threat or game; rather, its opening indicates that its core was inserted into its jacket while it was still molten so it could solidify in place. The MatchKing’s core is form-fitting as the result, which alongside its essentially perfect jacket concentricity and standardized weight enhances its in-flight stability tremendously. This particular MatchKing has a flat base for even greater accuracy out of a 300 Blackout rifle.
ADI World Class specifically formulated this round’s propellant to promote optimal functionality in a 300 Blackout rifle. Its primer and case are both match-grade, the latter of which is heat-treated so its brass can expand to cleanly seal the chamber during ignition.
