This round’s solar system of deer-killing performance revolves around a 165 grain sun: the Super Shock Tip. It is a low-drag bullet. Its sharp polymer tip, graceful secant ogive profile, and angled base all help it dart through the air almost unopposed. If fired down a 24” barrel, the sleek SST ought to reach 825 yards with 1,000 ft lbs of striking power!
The SST may expand very fast, but it grows in diameter at a steady rate – its tapered copper jacket in action. The SST also holds itself together, as its core and its jacket are attached at two separate places thanks to its InterLock ring and embedded cannelure.
