Federal’s Terminal Ascent is accurate and deadly on a wide range of medium game! This 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge’s 130 grain bullet features Federal’s own Slipstream tip – a blue polymer spear that initiates terminal expansion at velocities 200 fps slower than other manufacturers’ polymer tipped bullets.

Its tip and AccuChannel technology also make the Terminal Ascent streamlined enough to reach an abnormally high ballistic coefficient of G1 0.532/G7 0.263. Once the bullet explodes out of the muzzle at a rate of 2,800 fps, it will cook along a flat trajectory and still carry over 1,000 ft lbs of energy to a target at 600 yards.

The match accurate Terminal Ascent doubles down with devastating terminal ballistics. The bullet’s lead core is bonded to its copper shank to ensure deep penetration at all ranges. The Slipstream tip forces the bullet to expand outward at the breakneck speed which paralyzes and them promptly kills deer, hogs – you name it!

This round’s shiny reloadable brass case is plated with nickel. Nickel prevents corrosion from making the case too coarse to cycle smoothly, and promotes even better functionality by creating less friction as it slides across a rifle’s metal parts.
