The Partition is a true dual-core bullet thanks to the extension of its copper-alloy jacket which divides its lead core into two discrete sections. Its rear core enables the Partition to part with no more than one-third of its weight following impact. Such superior weight retention is the driving force behind the Partition’s deep-penetrating terminal performance. Its tapered jacket’s thin rim splits evenly apart as the Partition’s frontal core undergoes terminal expansion. That’s how the Partition mushrooms widely even following relatively low-velocity impact.
This 223 round’s hard-hitting bullet weighs a little heavier than usual at 60 grains. You’re going to see the best accuracy if your barrel has a faster 1:9” to 1:12” rate of twist. Its heavier bullet does give this round a higher 0.227 G1 BC and better resistance to wind drift as a result. Brass-cased and reloadable!
