Some people are wonderful and lovely to you. Give them hugs and kisses, and promise them you’ll always be wonderful and lovely back.
And then there are those on the opposite end of the loveliness spectrum. These characters may pose a clear and immediate threat to your physical safety; or, more succinctly, try to kill you.
For them, you have a short-barreled 357 Magnum revolver. You now also have the ideal ammunition for it: Speer Gold Dot Short Barrel, which is designed to overcome a snub nose revolver’s velocity limitations. Its 135 grain JHP undergoes terminal expansion following impact at triple-digit velocity!
The Gold Dot is a bonded projectile, with a jacket that is (A) resilient to promote deep penetration, and (B) concentric to ensure superior gyroscopic stability. Its nose cavity is the product of two consecutive die presses that closely control the width and rate of expansion.
Bright muzzle flash is another common issue with short-barreled revolvers. Speer’s propellant, which is specially formulated to combust at an accelerated rate, helps fix it. It’s inside a shiny, friction-minimizing, corrosion-resistant nickel-plated brass case – always a welcome added touch, especially in the case of self-defense ammo.
