This round’s bullet is just a little bit lighter than usual at 38 grains. That weight reduction pays off in the form of a high muzzle velocity – 1,235 fps, which produces a flat and easily directed trajectory. The LRN bullet hasn’t got any copper plating or hollow point nose cavity, but it does fire clean enough when it’s propelled by Blazer’s low-residue powder and also inflicts enough energy on impact to put down a squirrel or other pest creature.
Blazer loads their 22 LR ammo with CCI’s famous rimfire primers. Every stroke of the firing pin ought to produce the bang you’re expecting, and Blazer’s good brass cases help any gun feed and extract on right cue. This ammo comes packaged in ten 200-round milk cartons. Don’t pour it in your cereal or you’ll chip your teeth!
