Every component in a High Over All shell is designed to enhance performance. This round’s 1-1/8 ounce payload of #8 lead shot contains more antimony than usual. That makes the pellets harder and therefore better equipped to hold out against deformation as they’re launched to a muzzle velocity of 1,200 fps. The shot is cradled by the Podium wad – a one-piece plastic device which sports a uniquely shaped compression zone that further reduces shot deformation while simultaneously softening recoil. A narrow pattern with every trigger pull, guaranteed!
This ammo’s hulls feed and extract nice and smooth, and they’re durable enough to be reloaded several times. Better yet, those hulls readily accept a wide assortment of different component wads – and they have malleable solid brass heads which are easy to reshape at the reloading station.
