Biopolymer itself is made entirely out of plant ingredients, so it is edible to all the little microorganisms which live on top of the ground as well as underwater. This shell is much more than compostable. It is also a worthy hunting load, with 1-3/16 ounces of high-quality #5 lead shot. The 202 or so pellets deliver a dense and powerful spread for hunting larger upland game birds, and they pattern especially efficiently thanks to BioAmmo’s petaled wad. This shell’s 1,280 fps muzzle velocity shouldn’t give you too great a jolt to your shoulder – BioAmmo’s wad features a hinged compression area in its base to soak up some recoil.
