Would you like to harness the destructive potential of 00 buckshot – but don’t want to deal with very much recoil? NobelSport surely had you in mind while they engineered this low recoil 12 Gauge shotgun ammunition. It will keep you feeling fresher during a training session or shooting match, and also give you a marked advantage during a self-defense scenario as you have an easier time maintaining your aim on your target!

This shotshell is loaded with nine beads of 00 buckshot. The shell’s 1,200 fps muzzle velocity means its payload achieves a muzzle energy of 1,661 ft lbs, so it is still extremely powerful. But thanks to the shell’s relatively low muzzle velocity compared to other rounds, hinged BIOR wad, and specially formulated powder, it does manage to appreciably reduce felt recoil all the same.

NobelSport manufactured every component in this shell: its tempered lead shot, its clean-burning C7 powder, its high-density plastic wad, its non-corrosive primer, and its sturdy reloadable hull. The Italian manufacturer stands for premium quality – but not premium prices!

A: Thanks for reaching out! This shotshell has a ~1.1oz shot column and 1,200 fps muzzle velocity. That puts its dram equivalent somewhere between 2-3/4 and 3. According to its manual, the M1100 is designed to function optimally with ammunition ranging from 2-3/4 to 3 drams. In other words, this ammo appears to be loaded to the exact specs your shotgun prefers most.
