This shell doesn’t shortchange you in the power department. Its 1-3/16 shot column is divided into nine pellets, each of which becomes deadly as all get out once it achieves a muzzle velocity of 1,350 fps. Panzer’s lead is alloyed with antimony to protect the spherical shot pellets against deformation: tighter pattern, deeper penetration following impact.
As a major shotgun manufacturer, Panzer certainly knows how to design shotgun shells as well. This ammo’s noncorrosive primers and smokeless powder keep a shotgun operational out in the field, and its hulls’ mouths have a slight taper to promote smoother feeding in all makes and models of scatter guns.
