Winchester’s AA Diamond Grade line of shotgun ammunition is made for competitive sporting clays, FITASC events, and all other kinds of important shooting. Every one of this shotshell’s components are thought-out to give the shooter an edge over their competition.
This 12 Gauge shell’s ounce of #7.5 shot delivers the range and pattern density sport shooters prefer for taking out clays. The lead shot is hardened with the addition of eight percent antimony, and then hardened yet again with the addition of nickel plating. Winchester took especial care to make sure all 350 pellets in this shell are the same 0.095” diameter.
A competition shell also benefits from Winchester’s AA wad. Its one-piece design averts shot deformation while simultaneously softening felt recoil for more comfortable shooting. It also cups the shot fully to prevent barrel leading. This shell gives you a little more oomph out of the gate with its 1,350 fps muzzle velocity, the product of its fast burning powder.
This shell’s satiny hull and low friction nickel plated head help prevent the kind of jam that would slow you down (and embarrass you) at a shooting match. If the judges will let you, take your time to pick up such high quality reloadable hulls.
