Some shotshells are made for hunting, but not clays. Others are made for clays, but not hunting. Rio Wing & Target ammunition, on the other hand? Well, you’re going to want to sit down even more than you already are before you continue on to the following startling revelation. Rio Wing & Target is good for hunting and clays!
It’s not quite so miraculous a feat as we’re making it out to be. This 20 Gauge shotshell’s versatility is primarily the work of two factors: its #7.5 lead shot, which is a size favored more or less equally for upland hunting, trap, and sporting clays; and its 1,250 fps muzzle velocity, which supplies a good balance of recoil, range, and downrange stopping power (or “cracking power,” in the case of clay.
Rio was founded in Spain in 1896. Needless to say, they have experience – experience which they use to produce sure-firing, clean-shooting, and reloadable ammunition at their factory in Texas, where this ammo originated from. (We wish each case came with a slab of hickory-smoked ribs, but c’est la vie.)
