However satisfying that might feel, we’re certain that you’ll be pleased with this 30 Cal ammo can full of 280 Ethiopian military surplus 7.62x51mm cartridges. The ball rounds sport 145 grain projectiles which have full metal jackets, so they will feed without issue in a semi-automatic rifle and prevent its bore from rapidly fouling with lead.
This collectible ammo is brass cased and Berdan primed. The corrosive primers are still in great shape and ready to ignite with the touch of a firing pin, although long-term storage can’t really be listed among their merits. The can this ammo comes in is very cool, made in the 70s or 80s with black paint stenciling. It’s quite a deal on the stuff you need to keep your M14 or 308 Win caliber firearm well supplied for. And unlike the Ark, you can look at this ammo can’s contents without worrying about your face melting off!

Q: Will this work in a FN FAL ?
Was the FN FAL cambered in anything other than 7.62x51? Will standard 308 work the same as 7.62 NATO?

A: Hi Jim. This will work well in your FN FAL. You should never shoot the higher pressure .308 Win ammo in any rifle marked 7.61x51 until you have checked with the manufacturer to insure it is safe to do so. Let me know if I an assist further in any way. Have a great day.

This 7.62x51mm Ethiopian surplus ammo has a lead core within its full metal jacket. Also, keep in mind that this ammo has a corrosive primer so your firearm will need a thorough cleaning with soap and water after firing and then a good lubricant reapplied afterwards. Thanks!
