This ammo doesn’t come with a spam can opener. You can always open a spam can by placing it lid-side down on a concrete floor and scraping it back and forth until the seal wears away. Very clever! Just don’t do it on an important concrete floor.
It’s hard to find good steel-cased 7.62x54r ammunition when your government bans imports from Russia. Thank goodness Romania is still in the gummint’s good graces, however, because it means we get to offer 400-round sealed spam cans for sale!
Be sure that this ammo’s cases are in fact made of steel. It’s loaded with noncorrosive primers because it was manufactured in 2018 or later. They are Berdan primers, which is just another reason why you have no reason to attempt reloading this ammo.
Like many Russian manufacturers, Romarm loads bimetal-jacketed FMJs. They have lead cores, but their predominantly steel jackets mean that the bullets are certain to attract a magnet. Just means you can’t fire this ammo at all ranges!
