There once was a hunter who’d whack
A squirrel when his rifle went crack.
His gun would go blammo
‘Cuz stocked up on ammo;
He always had Federal Black Pack.

We guarantee you’ll love this 22 LR ammo as much as you love our beautiful poetry. Federal Premium makes these high-quality plinking and varmint elimination cartridges in the great state of Minnesota so you can plink and eliminate varmints all day, every day!

This cartridge’s bullet is a 36 grain lead hollow point. No copper plating to decelerate barrel fouling, but plenty of stopping power thanks to its hot 1,260 fps muzzle velocity and capacity for rapid terminal expansion. The economical LHP isn’t wasted on range targets, however, so use your Black Pack however you please!

But this isn’t just one Black Pack. It is a case of four Black Packs – 4,400 shiny brass-cased and noncorrosive 22 LR cartridges that you’ll be able to use for everything short of competitive matches!

A: Thanks for reaching out RipRap! I'm not sure if you were given that advice for a certain make or model of firearm. Don't want to contradict any expert advice you may have received! That said, LHP bullets will indeed foul the barrel, but make no mistake: copper-plated bullets will foul a barrel as well, albeit at a slower pace.
